My "New" Board

This is the board that guy gave me...

  1. how did you do you wax job? it looks great. my son just started surfing and is having trouble waxing his surf board. what kind of wax do you use?

  2. i use sticky bumps, but they are all the same. first you buy basecoat, and use about a quarter bar of it, going "nose to tail, rail to rail" as it says on the packaging. a bar of wax is just 1$ so buy it in large quantity, trust me, you'll be glad you did. then add the wax (cold, cool, warm, or tropical, depending on the water temp in your area). apply it the same way as you did the basecoat.use at least a full bar. make sure you get nice beads, and if you want, you can use a wax comb and go diagonally both ways lightly across the wax.
